Russell Chapman.  Senior Partner, Private Equity   Russ manages the Private Equity practice for Acclaro.  He leads project teams conducting the full range of business diligence activities and works with portfolio company management groups to develop and implement strategies for growth.

With almost three decades of senior operating experience at Fortune 500 companies, Russ brings a valuable hands-on perspective to strategy development at Acclaro. His background includes progressively challenging turn-around assignments for RJR Nabisco, L’Oreal, and the Gillette Company.  Russ was also Managing Director of Atlantic Capital, an M & A boutique in Brazil that focused exclusively on consumer product company transactions. Prior to joining Acclaro, Russ was asked by a leading private equity firm to transform an unprofitable retail artisan bakery into a world class branded food company as CEO.  Russ speaks three languages and has extensive international operating experience in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe.

Russ has a wide range of experience in consumer and industrial products, business services, health care, distribution and logistics.  As a former CEO focused on bottom line performance, Russ’ real world experience helps ensure that Acclaro consistently delivers fact-based, actionable results.

Russ has an undergraduate degree in Physics from Earlham College and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School
